Q & A with Lama Lena ∙ Sept 13, 2020

by Lama Tasha Star
In this live question and answer period, Lama Lena answers questions about guru yoga, the six realms, and the nature of reincarnation.

“Try to visualize all of time and space as an interconnected webwork of phenomena. Each phenomena creating the phenomena around it. Interconnecting and inter-penetrating. The law by which the phenomena create each other… is called karma.

These are analogies to help you see what it is that reincarnates moment to moment. Not a thingy at all. Karma. Only karma.

You feel as if the “you” that ate breakfast is still the “you” of now. That’s an illusion. You died. At the end of every moment, the “you” of that moment will never be seen again in another moment. The new moment is new. And each moment in and of itself is such as this. Nothing moves through time.

This is how all sentient beings in the three dimensions, all those that feel, think, perceive that they “are”, are all Buddhas in the fourth time. You. And me. There is no such thing as individual enlightenment, because there is no such thing as an individual.”
