This is a set of teachings on Thousand-arm Chenrezig practices related to Tong-Len, and adapted for westerners by Lama Thupten Yeshe of the Gelugpa lineage. There is not a specific text. This set of practices can be very intense and sometimes leads to the memories of past lives, and signs in dreams. It is best taught to more experienced and stable practitioners.

It is important to note that it is a continuous teaching… that is, to go to the 2nd teaching, you must attend the first, to go to the 3rd, you must have attended the 1st and 2nd, and if you come to the 3rd, you must come to the 4th. A person can stop after the 1st, or stop after the 2nd if they choose.

Note: As these practices can affect brain chemistry, this retreat is not recommended for people dealing with schizophrenia (even if balanced on medication), or anyone who has a mental health issue that has not been under control for a least a year, unless they have permission from the Lama Lena directly.
